Jeff Hogan, Owner, DC

Dr. Hogan has lived throughout the country as he grew up and finally ended up in Sugar Land. Dr. Hogan went to Clements High School in Sugar Land and then to Texas Tech University. Dr. Hogan went to Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas in January 2001 and licensed in Texas in Feb of 2001.

After he graduated he opened up a practice in the Greenway Plaza area before opening up the chiropractic office in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County in 2005.

Dr. Hogan is in his 22nd year of chiropractic practice. In 2005 he was a founding member of BNI Success in Sugar Land and served various roles for over 15 years. He is an active member of the TCA. He was also the past state director for the Texas Chiropractic Association for the Houston area. He is a member of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and currently serving on the board of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce. In 2019 he was a Medical Honoree for the Arthritis Association.

Jason Schell, DC

Dr Schell is a graduate of the Texas Chiropractic College and attended Texas A&M University for pre-med studies. While at Texas A&M, he was involved in a traumatic athletic accident, which left him with a broken leg and serious damage to his knee. Dr. Schell found an interest in chiropractic after several surgeries to reconstruct his knee.

He was referred to a chiropractor by his orthopedic surgeon where he was able to rehabilitate and restore function in his leg. "I have dedicated my life to educating the public on the benefits surrounding physical medicine and the chiropractic philosophy," said Dr. Schell. "I hope to empower people to live in a healthy, pain-free and less drug-dependent lifestyle."

As an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, Dr. Schell has practiced and is licensed in Texas and Ohio, and has treated thousands of patients ranging in age from infants to patients in their 90s. As an expert in the field of spinal trauma relating to automobile accidents, Dr. Schell has participated in advanced medical rotations in the Texas Medical Center in such disciplines as orthopedics, neurosurgery, and internal medicine.

W. Brent Reynolds, DC, DACNB, LAc(NY)

William “Brent” Reynolds, DC, DACNB, LAc(NY) is a doctor of chiropractic and holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture (New York). He is a diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and has been in private practice since 1997. 
A native Houstonian, he formerly practiced in Long Island, New York and New York City from 2004-2022 and has now relocated back to the Houston area to be closer to family. He was an adjunct professor of Neurology and Kinesiology at the New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY from 2006-2020. 
Dr. Reynolds’ passion is to help those who suffer with (but not limited to): vertigo/dizziness, traumatic brain injury, neuropathy, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and more. He was featured twice in the Journal of The American Chiropractic Association (JACA) for his work with patients with special needs and has been a keynote speaker at numerous health related events. 
Dr. Reynolds looks forward to utilizing his knowledge and experience to serve patients in the Houston area, specifically his new hometown of Sugar Land, TX where he resides with his fiancé, Melody. 

James Joseph, PT, DPT

Dr. Joseph graduated from Quinnipiac College with a Masters of Physical Therapy in Orthopedics. He was trained in various physical therapy techniques such as Cyriax, Mulligan, and Mckenzie for orthopedic conditions.

While he was working and gaining clinical experience, he attended MGH Institute of Health professions. He graduated with a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy specializing in Orthopedics. During his tenure as a physical therapist he has been a clinical instructor to various physical therapy programs; including Cornell and Ithaca Universities.

Dr. Joseph strongly believes that a successful physical therapy treatment depends on three factors, a detailed evaluation, proper clinical diagnosis and evidenced based treatment. Dr. Joseph uses the latest research and recent evidence based approach in delivering quality physical therapy care.

“I am motivated by a constant drive for growth and self-mastery of physical therapy. My passion for the field of rehabilitation and being involved in delivering quality rehabilitation to our patients keeps me going!”

Outside of the office Dr. Joseph enjoys an active lifestyle hiking, running, and working out. He loves seeing new movies and trying out new restaurants in the Houston area.

Brett Baer, DPT, PT

Dr. Brett Baer, Our Physical Therapist at Hogan Spine & Rehab
Brett Baer, DPT, PT, is a physical therapist practicing at Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers in The Woodlands, Texas. Known for his contagiously happy smile and cheerful, outgoing personality, Dr. Baer is passionate about helping his patients get back to their day-to-day lifestyle and live pain-free.

Originally from Brandon, Mississippi, Dr. Baer pursued his Bachelor of Arts in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he also received a football scholarship. Upon graduation, he signed on as a free agent for the St. Louis Rams for their 2013 preseason, serving as the team’s kicker. Dr. Baer later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Baer enjoys treating various musculoskeletal injuries from extremities to back pain. He specializes in manual therapy and is certified in functional dry needling for treating various musculoskeletal injuries.

When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Baer remains an avid fan of any and all sporting events, especially University of Louisiana football games, weight lifting, and golfing. He also loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Lauren, and their daughter, Britton.

Jerry Gentry, MD

Jerry Gentry, MD, is an interventional pain management physician at Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers, serving patients in The Woodlands, Houston, and Sugar Land, Texas. Dr. Gentry has been practicing for over 30 years and brings empathy and expertise to patients seeking pain relief and rehabilitation. His treatment philosophy revolves around treating the body as a whole, through mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Gentry earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, where he joined the United States Navy and graduated Cum Laude in 1984. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, in 1988, and then began a general surgery internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Gentry served as a naval officer for 12 years, serving in leadership roles across several naval hospitals and health care facilities, all while providing emergency and primary care services for active-duty personnel and patients of various demographics. He eventually reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander and received three Naval Achievement medals for his stellar service.

In addition to his clinical experience in hospitals, Dr. Gentry also has over 17 years of experience as a ringside physician at professional boxing and MMA events. Dr. Gentry is also committed to health and fitness outside of work. He is a male physique competitor, a fitness enthusiast, and enjoys power flow yoga and dancing. Dr. Gentry is a proud father to his three children, Madison, Jerrod, and MaKenna.

Dr. Gentry is a proud member of the Harris County Medical Association.
